I am been very, very, bad at keeping up this blog. The last post was before Christmas. I have been inspired by my great friend, Mandy, to keep up with this blog a little more often. She had a beautiful book printed of her blog that is the most precious account of her children and family that I have ever seen. I'll try to do better Mandy!!:)

We had a great Christmas and the new year, however, the new year is not so new anymore. We are anxious about moving to our new house in June, but will really miss being so close to family. Here are a few pictures that will hopefully hit some of the highlights of our past few months.

We welcome Lacy to the family, as she married Chad's cousin Nick on April 18th. What a great addition! One of Alysse's new best friends.

Alysse is playing Tee Ball this year. Chad is having fun coaching! Clay is waiting until he's old enough to play football.

Last Friday, Alysse was in her first beauty pageant. We were very proud of her and she had a great time with her friends from school.

Happy Birthday Averie!

Last night was my neice Averie's Seventh Birthday Party. It was an all girls makeover party with tons of makeup, nailpolish, and dress-up clothes. The girls had a ball! It was so fun watching them getting their hair done and all made up. They were so cute!! We had our own version of Libby Lu. After all of their "makeovers" they sported their new looks in a fashion show for the parents followed by lots of dancing to the Cha Cha Slide and the Train. A few girls spent the night with Averie. Alysse was so excited to attend her first real slumber party. Averie was a beautiful birthday princess!! I can't believe she is 7!

SNOW DAY!

The kids had a great time playing in the snow last weekend. Clay summed it up by saying "This is pwetty cool!".

This is a picture of Clay when he was about 4 or 5 months old. He sure was a little chunk. I can't believe how much he's changed. This is from when we lived in Knoxville. He used to love to lay on that butterfly mat and coo and laugh at all the toys hanging from it. I miss my little babies!!!

Messy Fun!

Here are few funny pictures of the kids where finger painting got a little out of control. The last picture is of Clay showing off his muscles after the bath. They are so funny. Clay is starting to play with Alysse more, instead of just messing up all her toys. Its fun to see them pretending together. He does and says everything she does.

Averie and Alysse dressed up this morning for school in their Cheerleader costumes. They were sooooo excited. Alysse came home early from school today with a tummy ache... so I hope she can make it Trick-or-Treating tonight. I hope everyone has a fun and safe night.
